Jacksonville is home to the Museum Of Contemporary Art, located specifically in the bustling downtown district. It is among the most popular cultural attractions here. The Museum Of Contemporary Art was built in 2003 and it gets its support from the University of North Florida. A visit to the Museum Of Contemporary Art, will leave you delighted with all the modern art coming from the ’60s to today. The museum can be found in the building of the Western Union Telegraph.

There are plenty of great things to look at in the Museum Of Contemporary Art. Their entire art collection has more than 800 pieces of paintings and photographs in it. They feature the works of Robert Longo, Jim Dine, Joan Mitchell, Alexander Calder, Philip Pearlstein, and many other famous artists. There are also plenty of sculptures in the Museum Of Contemporary Art. One particular piece is the Malibu created by Ed Paschke. He brings the unique fusion of pop culture and art into life.

There are also five exciting rotating exhibits in the Museum Of Contemporary Art. Each exhibition is defined extensively in their website (mocajacksonville.org). One exhibit is examines the very popular medium known as video and also looks into some issues regarding this.

The aim of the Museum Of Contemporary Art is to bring education to its guests and to inspire especially the young visitors to be involved with the arts. They have organized tours that you can take advantage of at any time.

Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill is a popular restaurant in the downtown area of Denver. It is located within the area of the renowned 16th Street Mall. Tourists and locals alike flock to Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill all year round to sample the many delectable dishes that it has to offer. Randy Schooch opened the restaurant several years ago in the Denver downtown area and is still a thriving business up to this day. The restaurant is still located in its original address at Suite 104 in 1201 of 16th Street.

Unlike the usual Asian restaurant, Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill has added a unique flair to its Asian dishes. Starting with the appetizers, you certainly have to try their Ahi Lettuce Wraps which costs $8.99. This scrumptious appetizer is made of fresh Ahi from Hawaii, water chestnuts and a combination of herbs and spices such as garlic, ginger, red onions, Thai basil and cilantro. All these ingredients are wrapped in fresh lettuce leaves and served with a tropical salsa plus an Asian-flavored dipping sauce. Another must-try appetizer at Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill is the Crab Wantons at only $8.99.

For those craving for sushi, Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill also serves sushi that just melts in your mouth. For the vegetarians, they serve 5 kinds of salads that are made of the freshest ingredients. They have 3 kinds of soups to choose from but I think the best among the three is the Long Life Chicken Soup. The name itself is very intriguing and it makes you want to have a taste of this soup. It will surely not disappoint your taste buds with its combination of spicy and rich flavors.

There is a wide array of duck and chicken dishes to sample at Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill. All eleven dishes have a price range between $10.99 and $14.99. All of their dishes are deliciously prepared but my personal favorite would have to be their Bangkok Duck. This dish is made of duck breast cooked until crisp and served with shredded cabbage, ginger, garlic and chili citrus sauce on the side. This is a perfect dish for those who are health conscious; it is scrumptious and healthy to eat at the same time. Those who are on a diet can still enjoy a great meal at Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill without worrying about the calories because they have healthy dishes on their menu.

If you are craving for seafood, you must try the sizzling seafood dish at Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill. This huge meal is made of a variety of fresh seafood like black mussels, Atlantic Salmon, shrimp, mahi mahi and fresh vegetables like tomatoes, red chili and red peppers. It is covered in a sauce made of a combination of citrus & lemon grass butter with hot soy sauce. Other house specialties are Mongolian Beef, Beef & Broccoli and the Shrimp with Walnut and Honey. Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill has added a unique twist to the usual steak by creating their special Teriyaki Steak. It is filet mignon with an Asian twist. The meat is cooked with mushrooms, green beans, sugar snap pea, red onions, asparagus, broccoli and covered with a teriyaki glaze. You can order this dish at a reasonable price of $13.99.

Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill not only serves good food but also has a bar brimming with all kinds of drinks. Their resident bartender can whip up some really refreshing drinks be it alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Sticking to the Asian theme of their restaurant, they also serve cocktails with an Asian twist. They also have a wide selection of beers from Asia.

Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill is certainly the best restaurant in Denver to satisfy your cravings for Asian cuisine. So if you are planning on a night out in Denver for good food and drinks, Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill is the place for you.

Surely you have noticed how most buildings in Florida appear to be like they were constructed with the then popular artistic deco style. This could be attributed to the fact that most buildings in Florida were actually constructed after the World War II, that time when neon lighting had been popularized. And this has set off the development of the professed Miami art deco district in Florida.

Really, there are several fashionable and at the same time, expensive antique shops that guarantee their items are indeed from these periods of neon lighting during the 1950s. That is why if you are considering of buying some antique items, you might as well consider buying an authentic Art deco item in the Miami art deco district. Otherwise, you might only be getting an item which is most likely not older when compared to the era of the 1950s.

Such gifts or souvenirs will definitely be a very nice memento of your trip to Florida, specifically from the renowned Miami art deco district. Such antique items are bona fide prized items which you can bring home for your family and friends. And in fact, majority of these authentic pieces of art have very high value as well as attraction to the individual purchasing such collections items.

Another of the visible art pieces came from the nuvo era of earlier Victorian times. You will truly be delighted to find such excellent art works which cannot be simply copied nor reproduced or sold as authentically unadulterated collection items from the Victorian times. You may be disappointed to find a little of these Victorian pieces of art; however, you will surely find a lot of these collection items in the Miami art deco district, only tinged with a touch of Florida’s 1950’s adaptation of their own artistic deco style featured in the popular Miami art deco district.

Really, it is such a surprise that there is so much construction on going nowadays, as well as the city’s population booming uncontrollably. Yes, population has changed so much in many different ways, from the kinds of nationality residing in the city alone, you could see how much of the place has changed from before.

And many yearn for the old Miami to come back by regaining its lost Miami adaptation of their own artistic deco style featured at the Miami art deco district. But looking at it on the other side, the more that you will see now are the various luxury hotels along Miami Beach which were not there while I swam and gathered sea shells along the shores several years have passed.

Our next destination in the list of Miami performing arts theatres is The Gusman Centre for the Performing Arts. This is located the very sophisticated and history-filled The Olympia Theatre. It used to be a theatre for silent movies way back in 1926. Afterwards it became the place for Vaudeville events, and when Elvis and Pavarotti gained popularity the theatre started housing MTV events.
The Jackie Gleason Theatre of the Performing Arts was named after Jackie Gleason or “Ralph Cramden”. He was America’s favourite entertainer for several years. It now occupies what used to be the Miami Beach Auditorium on 1700 Washington Ave. The theatre features the Miami City Ballet, several Broadway shows on tour, and international dance groups.

The fourth on our list of Miami performing arts theatres is the Colony Theatre. This used to be a movie theatre opened by Paramount Studios in 1934. In 1976, they renovated it to accommodate live performances ranging from dances to operas, and even to children’s theatre. They also feature Broadway shows on tour. There is a restaurant for patrons who want to grab a bite to eat before and after the performances. The Colony theatre is located on 1040 Lincoln Road in South Miami Beach, very close to the Miami Convention Centre.

Finally we have the Iroko Dance and Performance Centre. This Miami performing arts theatre features dance performances and cultural dances of Cuban, Haitian, and Afro-Caribbean people. This every lively place can be found on 2100 Washington Avenue.

These are just several of the beautiful sights and sounds of Miami performing arts theatre. Be sure to visit at least one of them whenever you find yourself in the Miami area and have the time of your life.

The rich culture and heritage of Alaska is documented and preserved in the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center. It is situated right at the junction of C Street and 7th Avenue of the city of Anchorage, Alaska.

The Anchorage museum was created with the collaboration of both the city’s private and public sectors. The museum strives to document Alaska’s glorious past as well as make the locals appreciate the arts. Anchorage museum also aims to provide a venue for scientific researches and studies.

In 1968, the Anchorage Museum was opened to the public in time for the commemoration of the 100 years since the acquisition of Alaska by the United States from the government of Russia. The museum’s main exhibit during its opening was composed of 60 art pieces, all of which were just borrowed from its owners just for the event. The Anchorage Museum also included 2,500 relics from the Alaska’s historical past which were also borrowed from the Historical Society of Anchorage.

Through the years Anchorage Museum has been included in the list of the most visited attractions in not just Anchorage but the whole of Alaska. It has also received great honor of being the first to get a recommendation from the prestigious Association of Museums. Another first for the Anchorage Museum was when it was designated to be the regional headquarters for the National History Arctic Study Center of the Smithsonian Institute.

The men and women behind the operations of Anchorage Museum aim to make Alaska known to the entire world and vice versa. The museum also wants to educate the people of Alaska about the culture and history of other countries from all over the world and not just that of Alaska.

At present, Anchorage Museum owns a considerable compilation of information on how Alaska has evolved through the years. The museum’s Alaska Gallery also has a wide collection of relics and documents from the events that make up Alaska’s history. They go as far back as to the period when the Russians first discovered Alaska. Also on display is a blockhouse used during the period of the Russian occupation of the territory. A blockhouse was used by the Russians as a stronghold in case of an attack from their enemies. Scenes from that period in Alaska’s history are also recreated to show visitors a clear picture of the way of life back then.

Photography as well as art pieces are also on display at Anchorage Museum in various exhibits. They gather these pieces from all over to give museum visitors a chance to view a wide spectrum of artistry. Anchorage museum is also a venue for art classes for kids and adults. To get information about these classes the museum can be contacted at (907)929-9268.

In line with the desire to reach out and educate more people about the arts and history, Anchorage Museum launched an expansion project that will be finished in the coming spring. This expansion will include a planetarium and a discovery center which will give visitors a more interactive experience while learning about science.

Anchorage Museum charges a minimal fee to the visiting public to help in the museum’s maintenance and operating expenses. Admission fee for adults is $8 and for those 65 years old and above the fee is only $7. Admission is free for kids from 2 to 17 years old but monetary donations are more than welcome.

One of the reasons so many people are drawn to Hawaii is because it has a reputation for being both exotic and expensive. The problem is that most of us can’t afford an expensive vacation. The good news is that it is possible to enjoy a Hawaiian vacation and not spend the rest of your life trying to pay for it.

The best way to make sure that your Hawaiian vacation doesn’t max out your credit cards is to avoid the restaurants that are catering to the tourists. The main reason you want to avoid these restaurants is because they are expensive. Another reason to avoid them is because they are more interested in providing you with what they think you think the Hawaiian experience should be like. Eating at the local restaurants will be cheaper and provide you with an authentic Hawaiian experience.

Norther Kauai

If you are staying in the northern section of the Kauai and are looking for someplace to eat, at dinner time you need to get yourself to a place called Bamboo Bamboo for dinner. You will find Bamboo Bamboo in Hanalei (the place made famous in the Peter, Paul, and Mary song) and you will be able to get a really great dinner for under twenty dollars. If the weather is nice you should ask to eat in Bamboo Bamboo’s lovely garden.

Tropical Taco is another really great restaurant that is located in Norther Kauai. This particular restaurant is Mexican and has learned to make Mexican dishes with a tropical twist that you won’t find anywhere else. Tropical Taco is the best Mexican restaurant in Kauai.

When it is time for breakfast, you should get over to the very appropriately named Wake Up Cafe. Many of the locals claim that the Wake Up Cafe is the best breakfast establishment in Kauai. The food is great and cheap. The Wake Up Cafe is also located in Hanalei.

Eastern Kauai

When you are on the eastern side of Kauai you need to stop in at this really great restaurant called Coconuts. The food is mid-priced and excellently prepared.

The Garden Island BBQ is another great place to eat when you in the east. This is actually a Chinese restaurant which not only has great food but also low prices and a wonderful staff.

You trip to the western section of Kauai will be incomplete until you have stopped at Jo Jo’s Shaved Ice for a frozen treat.
